Here are some updates from Hoppin :)

We have been growing the team behind hoppin.

Recently, we have been bringing in people across:

• Brand
• Marketing
• Product and development
• Project management

We are still hiring for a few key roles too. If you know someone who understands global communities, workations, travel products, or community-led spaces, send them our open roles.

• We had a photo shoot at our new house in Hongdae, Seoul, along with a concept shoot.

Earlier this month, we also hosted a pitch session and community gathering at hoppin House on August 15, led by Dogukan. More gatherings like this are coming.

We are hosting a 3-city program.

Korea Nomad Gateway is our 10-day workation across Incheon, Busan, and Jeju, created for remote workers, freelancers, founders, and creators who want to experience Korea beyond Seoul.

Instead of the September hoppin Busan Workation, we’re hosting a hoppin Korea trip this year. Expect some familiar faces and some new friends from Japan, Taiwan, and other countries.

We brought together some of the highlights from hoppin Busan, hoppin Jeju, and the Digital Nomads Incheon program, making this our most affordable program so far with support from three government subsidies.

hoppin Fukuoka: pop-up coliving & workation is happening this year during Colive Fukuoka in partnership with the Colive Fukuoka team.

As a team that has seen Colive Fukuoka grow and evolve over the years, this feels like a particularly special opportunity for both teams. We’ve been supporting each other for years, but this year we’re taking the collaboration further and bringing our strengths together.

hoppin Fukuoka means exploring the ins and outs of the city together - working, living, and connecting over tonkotsu ramen, late-night karaoke, morning runs, and everything in between.

Who’s going to be there?

Lots of things are planned, with plenty of time to work in between.

This lines up with Colive Fukuoka 2026, one of Asia's major workation and startup-community programs.

The Incheon Autumn Workation is coming this October: two weeks in Songdo, Incheon's smart-city district.

We are also planning hoppin Shanghai (small group) for mid-September 2026.(TBA)
